Restaurant Support Staff

Location: Southington, CT

GLASS HAT / DANTE’S / CRYSTAL BOWL SUPPORT STAFF

(This position includes Busser, Food Runner, and Bar Back based on business needs)

Your role as VALUED RESTAURANT SUPPORT STAFF AND CRYSTAL BEES TEAM MEMBER is to provide an EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE to our guests, ensuring that the guest service areas are well stocked and cleaned at all times, assisting servers and bartenders in a timely manner to satisfy our guests needs. 

THE RESPONSIBILITY AND EXPECTATIONS…

•    Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun. 

•    HAVE FUN! Not accepting less than the best for our guests and fellow team members. 

•    Provide fast, unobtrusive, friendly and attentive service. 

•    Promptly keeps service managers fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance. Takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action. 

•    Creates a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members. 

•    Adheres to company's sanitation and safety policies and procedures. 

•    Dressed in proper dress code requirements, non-slip shoes, looking neat, clean and professional at all times. All uniforms should be pressed, all team members may have guest contact and need to put forth their best appearance. 

•    Follows alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests.  

•    Keeps stations clean, stocked, assist bartenders in stocking needs, such as stocking beer, ice, glass stocking, clean as you go 

•    Assist in keeping storage areas, keg cooler, beer, and liquor area neat and clean.   

•    Follows all time clock standards. Punch in / punch out in full uniform.  

•    Assists all delivery of food, drinks, and service needs, ensures food is properly garnished and delivers to designated tables 

•    Busses and resets tables  

•    Maintains a thorough understanding of all menu items and is able to answer questions regarding food and drink items and their preparation. 

•    Performs opening/closing responsibilities, including party set-up and breakdown/duties when assigned to party 

•    Works quickly and efficiently adhering to "Full hands in, Full hands out" philosophy. 

•    Assists other team members as needed or as business dictates. 

•    Busses and resets bar and tables as needed

•    Participates in all incentives and contests, driving sales and promoting the brand.  

•    Keeps station clean, sets up and takes down station tables appropriately. 

•    Maintains a favorable working relationship with all outside vendors and Crystal Bees team members to foster and promote a cooperative, productive, effective and harmonious working climate. 

•    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by team members to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this position the team member will regularly be required to: 

•          Work days, nights and/or weekends as required, including holidays 

•          Work in noisy, fast paced environment with plenty of distracting conditions 

•          Move about venue, standing / walking for 100% of shift 

•          Repeated bending & stooping while serving guests 

•          Listen to guests needs, communicate clearly with guests verbally, non-verbally and with team members verbally 

•          Ability to read & write English handwritten notes 

•          Lift and carry up to 30 pounds or/over 30 pounds with assistance.  

•          Have a genuine hospitality demeanor, and the ability to smile!
